MVP OEE Inspiration

Bill Mountjoy, CMRP, CDG’s VP of Reliability Engineering and leading global Maintenance & Reliability Excellence thought leader, is the inspiration behind MVP OEE software. During his manufacturing career, he used various OEE solutions but was never satisfied.

The issue was that production (line event data) and maintenance (activity data) weren’t integrated and compiling, aligning, and interpreting this data was resource-intensive and time-consuming, thus, never happened. Other solutions automating the integration were expensive and cost-prohibitive. Bill needed real-time, integrated data to drive reliability continuous improvement and eliminate the finger pointing (between Maintenance and Production).

Building an optimal OEE solution has been a dream of Bill’s. Working with CDG’s development team and providing them the requirements, his dream was realized with the release of MVP OEE software. MVP OEE has superseded his expectations and we hope it supersedes yours, too!
